We are a small kennel in Oyster River on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We breed Canadian Kennel Club registered Newfoundland dogs. We have litters approximately every two years. We breed primarily for health, temperament and function. Our dogs are active in rally, water rescue training, tracking and freestyle dance.

Health

These puppies are in for their 9 week cardiology checkup. Our pups are seen by the veterinarian at 8 weeks old for health checks and vaccinations. At 7 weeks old they have temperament testing done.

Training

We follow the Puppy Culture protocol for raising our puppies to be keen learners. We provide enrichment activities for the puppies from birth to aid in their development. The puppies are raised in the heart of our home and meet many visitors. Each pup is exposed to neurological stimulation for the first weeks of life. All our pups are exposed to training in cooperative care and grooming from an early age. We hope each of our pups will engage in lifelong learning. We encourage all our puppies to get their canine good neighbor certification.
